How does wedin securely connect to my email?
You connect through your email provider’s own sign-in, so wedin never sees or stores your password. You grant access, and you can withdraw it whenever you like — from wedin, or from your email account’s security settings.
Will wedin ever send emails to vendors without my permission?
No. wedin can draft, but you send. Nothing leaves your inbox until you have read it and pressed send yourself.
What happens to my data if I decide to delete my account?
You can close your account whenever you want. When you do, we delete your wedding data and disconnect wedin from your inbox. Your emails are unaffected — they stay in your own email account, exactly where they have always been.
What types of vendors does wedin recognise?
The ones you are already emailing — venues, florists, photographers, caterers, bands, cake makers, planners. wedin works from your conversations rather than a fixed directory, so a vendor we have never come across still gets their own record, with the quotes, dates and payments pulled out of the thread.
Can I upload PDF proposals, WhatsApp chat exports, or screenshots directly?
Quotes and contracts can live against a vendor whether they arrived as an email attachment or you added them yourself. Chat exports and screenshots are on our list rather than in the product on day one — if that is how your planning actually happens, tell us when you join the waitlist and it helps us decide what to build next.
Does wedin handle multiple currencies for destination weddings?
Yes. Choose the currency you want to think in and wedin converts as it goes, so a deposit quoted in euros and a final balance quoted in pounds still add up to one budget you can read at a glance.
Is wedin free for waitlist members?
Early access itself is free — no charge, and we never ask for a card to join the waitlist. Joining does not guarantee a place though: there are only a hundred, so not everyone on the list will be in the first round. We will let you know either way.
When will early access invitations roll out?
In small batches. We have a hundred places and we would rather fill them slowly and fix what we learn than open the doors all at once. Join the waitlist and we will be in touch either way — and if there is no place for you this time, you stay on the list for when wedin opens up properly.
What will pricing look like after the beta period?
We have not settled on it yet, and we would rather say that than invent a number. What we can promise is that early access members hear it from us first, with plenty of notice and no surprise charge.
