What is wedin?
wedin brings your wedding emails, vendors, documents, payments and plans together in one place.
Connect your email, add your vendors, and wedin helps organise the important details so you don’t have to keep searching through your inbox.
Do I need to start from scratch?
No. If you’re already speaking to vendors, you can connect the email account you’ve been using and add their email addresses to wedin.
You can pick up from where you are.
How does wedin connect to my email?
wedin connects securely to Gmail or Outlook using their own sign-in process.
wedin never sees or stores your email password, and you can disconnect your account whenever you want.
Does wedin read my emails?
Only the conversations linked to the vendor email addresses you choose to share with wedin.
wedin uses those emails to find and organise useful information for your wedding. It doesn’t process unrelated conversations in your inbox.
What information does wedin pull from my emails?
wedin looks for useful details such as vendor costs, currencies, payment dates, what’s included in a quote and attached documents.
You can review the information in wedin and make changes if something doesn’t look right.
Can I reply to vendors from wedin?
Yes. You can reply to vendor emails directly from wedin.
Nothing is sent unless you choose to send it.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Your wedin account and the wedding information stored in it will be deleted, and your connected email account will be disconnected.
Your original emails will stay in your own inbox.
What types of vendors does wedin recognise?
Pretty much any wedding vendor you’re speaking to.
wedin works from your email conversations rather than a fixed vendor directory, so you can add your venue, photographer, florist, caterer, planner, band, cake maker or anyone else involved in your wedding.
Can I add WhatsApp conversations or screenshots?
Not yet.
WhatsApp chat imports and screenshots won’t be part of the first version of wedin, but they’re something we’re looking at for the future.
Does wedin handle different currencies?
Yes.
You can keep vendor costs in their original currencies and view them together in your chosen main currency.
Converted amounts are there to help with planning and may change as exchange rates move.
Is early access free?
Yes. The first 100 early access places will be free, with no card details needed to get started.
Joining the waitlist doesn’t guarantee one of the first 100 places.
When will early access invitations go out?
We’ll invite people in small groups while we test wedin and make improvements.
If you’ve joined the waitlist, we’ll let you know if you’ve been selected for early access. If you don’t get one of the first places, you’ll stay on the waitlist for wider access.
How much will wedin cost?
We haven’t finalised pricing yet.
We’ll make pricing clear before paid plans begin, and you won’t be charged unless you choose to sign up to one.
